TurkmenExport provides consultation on issues of customs administration. On the basis of concluded contracts it accepts for realization the goods from local commodity producers of all kinds of property; independently, bypassing exchange auctions, realizes foreign buyers the goods intended for sale. With a view of creation of optimal conditions for export of goods abroad it carries out the foreign trade activity by frontier shops and the branches opened in foreign countries and representations.

Self-accounting enterprise «TURKMENEXPORT» of the Ministry of trade and foreign economic relations of Turkmenistan was set up according to resolution no. 12182 of President of Turkmenistan of March, 16, 2012 with a view of further development of foreign trade relations of Turkmenistan, consistently increase the volume of exports of domestic products abroad and ensure optimal conditions for importing the necessary goods. The main goal of its activity, the State Enterprise "Turkmenexport" determines the wide popularization in the global markets of goods and services of manufacturers of Turkmenistan interested in exporting their own goods, as well as attracting foreign partners and buyers for mutually beneficial trade cooperation, which determines the high level of domestic commercial products in the world market conditions.

When carrying out trade and economic activities, the State Enterprise "Turkmenexport" enjoys the following benefits:

- on the basis of concluded contracts, accepts for sale goods from domestic producers of all types of property;

- independently, bypassing exchange trading, sells goods intended for sale to foreign buyers.

– in order to create the most optimal conditions for exporting goods abroad, it carries out its foreign trade activities through border outlets and branches and representative offices opened in foreign countries.

The exchange registration of export contracts concluded by the State Enterprise "Turkmenexport" will be carried out on the day of payment of exchange fees, and an accelerated procedure for processing documentation on contracts in the relevant structural divisions of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the Main State Service "Turkmenstandartlary" and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan is also provided. The state enterprise "Turkmenexport" has exclusive pre-emptive rights, bypassing exchange trading, to profitably sell for export the following commercial products manufactured in Turkmenistan, ready for shipment: a large list of textile and cotton products; carbamide, potassium and other chemical products; iodine stick and other types of pharmaceutical products; national carpets, yarn, wool; a wide range of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic products.
